Even though I said I wouldn't waste my time on Facebook, I signed up.
Since then my email volume from classmates has dropped but my news feed on Facebook has taken up the slack.
Honestly, some of my "friends" must no longer have a life. The amount of stuff I read on Facebook from some them is astounding, especially from the younger ones, such as my grandchildren and their "friends"
My older "friends" are fond of posting pictures. I guess digital cameras are part of the reason, no ongoing cost for film and developing. Or It could also be the "smart" phones with cameras and apps for quick posting.
Anyway, my blog postings are way down because, as I said earlier, not much is going on.
Now for my news feed.
We have proposed a summer luncheon - details to come later. If you haven't emailed Juanita Oliver with your preference, please do so.
Or, post on Facebook.

My daughter just attended her high school 25th, which was a bit of a bust; didn't cover costs. They decided to blame it on Facebook. Classmates no longer need to go to reunions to find out what people are doing and what they look like now.
