Charlotte and I went to nursing school together, and became good friends during our three years there.
An item of interest: Charlottes son married the daughter of her roommate in nursing school. They met at college and didnt know the connection with their mothers. Charlottes daughter is named after her roommate.
That class was very close and remains so.
We will miss her

I mourn with our class the loss of our Miss C.H.S.
Pennie Richelson Pearlman
Dear Charlotte Yates (in Heaven),
You stand-out in memories from 8th Grade at Northside, during CHS days and at Erlanger Hospital. Your laughter, caring and friendly ways make you one of life's "most unforgetable characters". Your dance card was always full at the proms with names of the lucky boys. Your wisdom in understanding the things that matter most to people is outstanding. The compassion you showed as a nurse to family members will always be treasured.
Your friend,
Mac Cunningham
