WHITE CHRISTMAS in Chattanooga!
Juanita Oliver sent the following e-mail.
YES....we have 7 INCHES here at our house!! I
measured!!! It's beautiful....the biggest snow storm since 1969!!! We
are snowed-in!!!!! If you have photos you'd like others to see send to
Norm below to post on our blog!! Would be fun to see!!!!
NormanRMiller@yahoo.com
Also if you wish to see photos I made of our condo community in the East Brainerd area of Chattanooga, go to:
callawaycourt.blogspot.com
and see the pics I made Christmas day. We didn't get snowed in here as our terrain is relatively flat. But if you were in the higher elevations all bets were off.

Harry Hagan "On The Air"
From his email:These are just pix of the band, "On The Air." We've been together since '96. We do high-end weddings, corporate stuff, and occasional concerts. It's one of the best bands I've had the great pleasure of working with over the years. We're playing tomorrow night, for instance, for the Savannah debutantes. Sunday night, we'll be playing for all the Atlanta strippers at their annual ball! More info is at www.delbaroni.com
The Stones and what remain of the Beatles are our age, but it still seems almost anachronistic for me to be playing in a RnR band at this age. It's great fun, I must say.

It's All Over......For Now !!!
Our thanks to the committee and the other volunteers that made it happen. Friday night at Manker-Patten was great. A good time to meet and re-acquaint with classmates. Some we hadn't seen in 50 years. And the food was great - thanks to Carrabba's.
For some, the tour of the old "city high", was the first time they had been in the school since graduation. Brought back a lot of memories. Not all great, but time has a way of making us forget the bad and remember the good. Like cafeteria food, planting rose bushes, and detentions. I think the auditorium brought back the most memories. It's where we shared events as a group, the whole school, not just our class or our little "clique".
Saturday night at The Chattanooga Golf and Country Club was the highlight of the reunion weekend. We had 144 classmates and spouses for the reception and dinner. A cocktail reception before a great dinner set the tone for an evening of music and dancing.
For those of you that were unable to attend we are still accepting orders for a class picture-$10.00, A DVD with pictures of the weekend-$30.00, A DVD with video highlights of the weekend-$30.00.
To order send a check to CHS60, P.O. Box 21981, Chattanooga, TN 37424-0981. Mark on the check what you are ordering (especially which DVD).
For those of you that have already ordered and prepaid we are working on the order and hope to mail soon.
If you would like to order individual pictures made at any of the events take a look at this website: http://www.photoreflect.com/scripts/prsm.dll?eventthumbs?event=0KPL008A
Just copy and paste to your browser. This will take you to the website of our photographer, Alex McMahan and take you directly to our reunion photos.
I have enjoyed posting about our class and the 50th reunion. I will continue to update this blogsite as news and events warrant. If you have class news you would like published e-mail it to me at NormanRMiller@yahoo.com.

Thanks to Bob Carrier, Sherry Hobbs Dahrling and Joyce Williams Brown for generous door prize donations...we could use MORE!! And the days dwindle down......
Have you sent your check in?
How about a bio? You can send us your bio even if your too poor, too cheap, not interested or have a scheduling conflict. We plan to give a CD to the class of the bios.
Your bio doesn’t have to be a ”bragging” bio. Mine sure won’t be. Although I have had some successes, I’m sure I’m like most of you, ordinary, just like I was in school.
I think the greatest success is to have made it this far….and be able to attend to 50th reunion.
Keep those cards and letters coming…. Checks too!

MEMORIES....
The reunion committee has asked classmates to send their "memories" of the Chattanooga High School Experience to the reunion committee to Juanita Collake Oliver at jcoliver@juno.com. We have already received "memories" of our class from Mac Cunningham and Harry Hagan and others.
AND.....bring your CHS memorabilia on Saturday night, June 5, for our display table!!
YES....we will update our bios from our 45th bio book!! Send or email an update or a new one...IF, you didn't send one for our 45th, do for our 50th!!
Instead of a book, a CD will be given to classmates.
So start working on your biography.
Go through your photos, class memorabilia, and mail copies to Juanita Collake Oliver, 8441 Balata Drive, Ooltewah, TN 37363...or just bring on June 5!!!!

And it had a check for all of the functions.
Now all we need is about 500 other classmates to respond.
Hurry now before we're sold out!!! Just kidding, but we need you to commit early to help us plan.

And, you can be anonymous or recognized in the program. It’s your choice.
