Can You Hear Me Now?

Well I did it!

After years of “huh”, “ what did you say”, and the TV up so loud the windows rattled, I did it.

I got hearing aids.

I can hear my cell phone ringing. I can even understand conversations now.

A buddy of mine asked, “what does your family think about them”. “I don’t know” I replied. “I haven’t told them yet.”
“But, I have changed my will three times. “

O.K. so that’s a joke.

What’s not a joke is our classmates are dying off every year.

The reunion committee is meeting Monday, August 3rd at the Big River Grille, Hamilton Place, Chattanooga, TN, at Noon. We are trying to come up with an appropriate way to memorialize our fallen classmates. If you can, join us. No reservations needed. Just show up.

THE COMMITTEE HAS FINALZIED OUR REUNION PLANS - “$50 FOR OUR 50^th”!!

Hotel rooms will be discounted and blocked at two downtown hotels: Hilton Garden Inn and the DoubleTree

June 4 Friday Events:

10 AM School Tour

1:30 P.M. CG&CC: Golf - $100 fee includes green fee and cart (inclusive of taxes) Contact: Mickey McCamish

6 P.M. - Casual Get-Together - Manker Patten Tennis Club/100 Douglas Street

June 5 – Saturday MAIN EVENT – CHATTANOOGA GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB

6:30 P.M.– COCKTAILS (Cash Bar)/7:30 P.M. BUFFET DINNER/LIVE BAND 9 P.M. – 11 P.M.

Sunday

Breakfast at one of the above hotels.

We need a photographer for Saturday night. Please contact me if you know a professional photographer you’d like to refer.

The Committee would like classmates to consider sponsoring a cash memorial to another classmate or loved one. We also need classmates to sponsor our various events such as our Friday night get-together as well as the wine for our Saturday evening dinner. We have a large mailout expense for non-email classmates. Donations WELCOMED. Door Prizes to give away Saturday night WELCOMED!!!
